Contradiction and Mistake in the Bible. the Bible is not a perfect!

Contradiction and Mistake in the Bible, the Bible Is Not A Perfect Book!

 By Nandip

Somebody ought to tell the truth about the Bible. The Preachers dare not, because they would be driven from their pulpits. Professors in Colleges dare not, because they would lose their salaries. Politicians dare not, because they would be defeated. Editors dare not. They would lose subscribers. Merchant dare not, because they may lose customers. Men for fashion dare not, fearing that they would lose caste. Even Clerks dare not, because they might be discharged. And so I thought I would do it myself”. The works of Robert Ingeroll. Page 453
The total fools can be forgiven when they say that the Bible has no mistakes in it; because they are total fools. The uneducated fools have a good excuse when they believe that the Bible contains no contradictions; because they are uneducated fools. The idiots have a good excuse in preaching that the Bible contains no inconsistencies; because they are idiots. The buffoon has every right to proclaim that the Bible is the most perfect book ever written; because they are buffoon. The imbeciles cannot help themselves when they say that the Bible science is exact science; because they are imbeciles. My question is what justifications or excuse do you who are capable of reading and comprehending this, you who call yourselves educated, intelligent and enlightened, have for saying that, “The Bible has no mistakes, no contradiction or inconsistencies, the most perfect book ever written, and contains exact science”. After using your education to read and reason out.
“Whenever we read the obscene stories, the voluptuous debaucheries, the cruel and tortuous executions, the unrelenting vindictiveness, with which more than half the Bible is filled, it would be more consistent that we called it the word of a demon than the word of God. It is a history of wickedness, that has served to corrupt and brutalize mankind; and, for my part, I sincerely detest it, as I detest everything that is cruel.” Thomas Paine, the Age of Reason

Fables and badly written books usually contradict themselves but well written book would not contradict itself. This is proof that these primitive books are not from God.

·        Man was created equal, male and female. Gen. 1:27
Woman was created as a companion to man only after he rejected the animals. Gen. 2:18-24
·        The birds were created out of the water. Gen. 1:20
The birds were created out of the land. Gen. 2:19
·        Man was created after the plants. Gen. 1:12, 26
Man was created before the plants. Gen. 2:5-9
·        The animals were created before man. Gen.1:24-26
The animals were created after man. Gen. 2:19
·        On the first day, God created and separated light and darkness. Gen. 1:3-4
On the fourth day, God created and separated light from darkness. Gen.1:14-18
·        God was pleased with his creation. Gen. 1:31
God was not pleased with his creation. Gen. 6:6
·        Adam was to die the day he ate the forbidden fruit. Gen. 2:17
Adam lived 930 years. Gen. 5:5
·        The name of” the Lord” was known in the beginning. Gen. 4:26; 12:8, Gen. 22:14; Gen. 26:25
The name of “the Lord” was not known in the beginning. Ex.6:3

·        God asked Cain the where about of his brother. Gen. 4:9
God is everywhere and see everything. Prov. 15:3; Jer. 16:17; Jer. 23:24

·        Noah entered the ark during the flood. Gen. 7:7
Noah entered the ark after the flood. Gen. 7: 12, 13

·        There were many languages before the tower at Babel. Gen. 10:5, 20, 31
There was only one language before the tower at Babel. Gen. 11:1

·        And the Syrians fled before Israel; and David slew the men of 7 hundred chariots of Syrians, and 40 thousand men, and smote Shobach the captain of their host, who die there. 2Sam. 10:18

But the Syrians fled before Israel; and David slew of the Syrian 7 thousand men who fought in chariots, and 40 thousand foot men, and killed Shophach the captain of the host. 1Chron. 19:18

Compared second Kings Chapter 19:1-37 with Isaiah Chapter 37:1-38 they are identical.
This is scandalous indeed. Please note that 2rd Kings is estimated to have been written between 560-540 BC and the book of Isaiah is said to have been written about 760-680 BC. Both authors lived hundreds of years apart.
And also compare Ezra 2:1-70 and Nehemiah 7:6-73.
Who should we believe Ezra or Nehemiah? The author of Ezra chapter 2 verse 64 gives us a grand total of all the family and tribes that returned from Babylon to Jerusalem: his total is 42, 360.
I insist that what these two authors need is education not inspiration.
In comparing these two chapters, verse by verse, we find twenty seven discrepancies in numbers and twenty-six names.

·        David was a man of war before he fought Goliath. 1Sam16:17-18
David was not a man of war before he fought Goliath. 1 Sam. 17:39

Every Jew and Christian knows that it was David who killed Goliath, right?

“Thus David prevailed over the Philistine (Goliath) with a sling and stone, and he struck the Philistine and killed him; but there was no sword in David hand. 1Sam 17:50

If the above verse is true then what’s going with the below verse in some Bible translations? Elhanan is given the credit for killing of Goliath!

·        In another battle with the Philistine at Gob, Elhanan son, of Jaare-Oregin the Bethlehemite killed Goliath the Gittite, who had a spear with a shaft like a weaver’s rod. 2Sam. 2:19 (NIV)

And

·        There was a war with the Philistine again at Gob, and Elhanan the son of Jaare-Oregin the Bethlehemite killed Goliath the Gittite, the shaft of those of spear was like a weaver’s beam. 2Sam. 21:19(NASB)

The below show quote shows how the above verse appears in the KJV: it says Elhanan killed Goliath’s brother.

·        And there was again a battle in Gob with the Philistines, where Elhanan the son of Jaare-Oregin, a Bethlehemite, slew the brother of Goliath the Gittite, the staff of whose spear was like a weaver’s beam. 2Sam 21:19(KJV)

Who should we believe killed Goliath, David or Elhanan. Your guess is as good as mine and since all these translations claim to be the true word of a perfect God, I have (and you should too) to reject the whole story as being one giant myth.

NO PARADISE, NO HELL!

Fact: the author(s) of the five books of the Bible did not record anything about a place called hell; he did not give us a hint about a place of bliss where God’s “chosen” people will live forever. The author wrote nothing of dead sinners being punished, nothing about a final judgment day. From the first mistake in Genesis to the last blunder in Deuteronomy there is not even the slightest hint that anyone will be punished or rewarded for his/her actions in this life or any other life to come.

We have to wonder when and who fabricated the concept of the place call heaven, for those people who want to be servants and to be ruled by Gods after they die, and a place call hell for those who want to be free and refused to be ruled by any Gods in this life or any life to come.

I wonder if the Bible believers ever asked themselves this puzzling question, “why did it take moses, Aaron and the two million Israelites plus animals, forty years to travel from Egypt to Canaan ( the promised land); a journey that would take an average old man two weeks in bad weather to complete? (Note: According to the Bible when Jacob died in Egypt his body was taken to Canaan for burial which was three or four day trips.).

The fact is, after over one million man hours of archaeological excavation, not a single shred of evidence has been discovered to prove that some two million people and livestock wandered that part of the desert for forty years. Not one piece of human or animal skeletal remains, no evidence of camp sites, not a shred of artifact, nothing!
That along with the fact there are no Egyptian words in the Hebrew (Jewish) language, or that no Hebrew words can be found in the ancient Egyptian language is so strange, because Moses tells us that he and his people were in bondage and communicated with the Egyptians for over three hundred years. The facts suggest that either the Jews, as a people were never in Egypt for any long period of time or were never in Egypt at all. This story (like majority of the stories in the Bible) must be read with suspicion.

CONTRADICTIONS IN THE NEW TESTAMENT EXPOSE!

·        Joseph, Mary and Jesus flee to Egypt while Herod slaughters all males under two years old. Mt.2:13-16 (Note: Jesus’ cousin, John, was also under two years and survived without having fled.)

Joseph, Mary and Jesus did not flee to Egypt, but remained for the temple rituals. No slaughter of the infants was mentioned! Lk.2:21-39

The two Mary’s and Salome went to the tomb. Mk. 16:1
Several women went to the tomb. Lk. 24:10
Only Mary Magdalene went to the tomb. Jn. 20:1

·        Paul states that he does not lie. Rom. 9:1; 2Cor. 11:31; Gal. 1:20; Tim. 2:7
Paul states that he does lie. Rom. 3:7

·        Paul said that he does not use trickery. 1Thes.2:3
Paul admits to using trickery. 2Cor.12:16

·        Paul teaches not to steal. Eph.4:28
Paul admits to stealing. 2Cor.11:8

Everyone is aware that there are contradictions in the Bible, except for the fundamentalist idiots. “They hold that the Bible is inspired, inerrant, and literally true word of God” (Hoffmann, in Burr, page.7). But for centuries, writers have dared, often at great personal costs, to show that is not. Beliefs are held, though contradicted by the evidence. William Henry Burr published anonymously in 1859 his collection of the self-contradictions of the Bible.
